Programs
Classes: Two 2-hour sessions that meet over a two-week period. Fee: $120 Call for schedule.


Individual consultation: These are 50-minute sessions that offer the opportunity to address the specific needs of participants. They are offered at my office and by telephone. Fee: $130.


FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO:

1. Desire to increase their motivation for creative pursuit.

2. Seek increased freedom to access their creative genius.

3. Wish to experience increased courage to create.

4. Experience excessive procrastination, distraction, or withdrawal when moving toward creative engagement.

5. Desire to foster the resilience essential for overcoming the tension aroused by creativity.

6. Wish to further their capacity for sustained creative engagement.

7. Are experiencing mild or severe inhibition in the capacity to live authentically through
creative pursuit.

8. Seek to better identify a creative passion.


OBJECTIVES


1. Learn how "inhibiting themes" undermine the capacity for creative pursuit.

2. Recognize the "mind-body sets" that are aroused by inhibiting themes.

3. Identify those inhibiting themes that are most significant for you.

4. Learn how "moments of challenge" can inhibit your capacity for creative engagement.

5. Understand how the interplay of emotions, physical states, and thinking impact the creative
process.

6. Learn about and reduce the many faces of fear that form the fear of failure.

7. Develop strategies to reduce and minimize the impact of shame and guilt on your creativity.

8. Learn to embrace solitude as an essential aspect of creativity.

9. Identify and reduce the impact of dependency conflicts that undermine the creative process.

10. Understand how fantasies can get in the way of creative dreams.

11. Recognize how the "myth" of the self interferes with openness to creative pursuit.

12. Learn strategies to overcome the "inhibiting themes" that challenge the creative process.
